Short for Code Division Multiple Access, CDMA is also known as cdmaOne or IS-95A. CDMA is a digital mobile phone technology developed by Qualcomm that assigns each channel a unique code enabling multiple calls to be made over the same frequency.
Today, CDMA is overseen by the MDG (Mobility Development Group), formerly known as CDG (CDMA Development Group), that serves the wireless community multimode contemporary networks.
