Shorthand for consumer to consumer, C2C is a branch of e-commerce where transactions are conducted between two private individuals, rather than an individual buying from a business. With C2C, the buyer often pays the seller through an online payment system, like Paypal or Venmo. The buyer may also be able to pay the seller directly through the website if it has a payment system.
