Brooks is an experimental, multi-paradigm programming language that was proposed by Petra Hofstedt in 2003. It is a “functional logic” language that “bring[s] together deterministic computations from the functional world and nondeterministic search operations from the logic world.” Its name is a homage to the logician Haskell Brooks Curry.
