  1. In a computer game, an item describes anything found, worn, equipped, or otherwise used in a game. For example, while playing an MMORPG (massively-multiplayer online role-playing game), your character may find a weapon that can be equipped. Once that item is equipped, your character appears with the weapon. Other items include clothing, armor, books, food, ingredients, potions, junk, etc., that is collected and used while playing the game. If items are not being worn or used, they’re stored in your characters inventory.
