Apple ID is an all-in-one account for logging into various services provided by Apple. It works with many of their products including iCloud, iWork, the iTunes store, and the Apple Store.

Any valid e-mail address can be used as an Apple ID. As of March 2013, Apple offers two-step verification as an optional security method for protecting the account. Users are allowed to have multiple Apple IDs, but they may not be merged.
