Short for Subscriber Identity Module, a SIM card is an integrated circuit used in cellular phones, and other mobile devices, to store subscriber information. One advantage of a SIM card is that it can be moved from device to device, making it easier retain data and contacts when changing phones. The picture is that of an inactive AT&T SIM card.
