Keeping track of all your passwords is a daunting task. However, there are many different programs (known as password managers) designed to keep track of all your passwords for you securely. We highly recommend KeePass, a free, open source, and lite password manager that is easy to use. Visit the official KeyPass site to download this program.
If you want an online tool that you can sync between multiple devices, including your phone, tablet, and different computers, we highly recommend Dashlane. Dashlane makes it extremely easy to manage your passwords and warns about both unsecure and shared passwords. It also autofills form fields on a web page. Dashlane can downloaded from the official Dashlane site, and from Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Using programs like KeePass or Dashlane encrypts your password data and is a better solution than an unencrypted text document, or worse, on a Post-it note.
