A male connector or male port is a connector or port with pins instead of holes. These connectors are inserted into a female connector. Examples of male connectors are power plugs and coaxial cables. In the picture, the power cord connector on the left (with holes) is a female connector. The connector on the right, with pins that connects to the wall outlet, is a male connector.
