Alternatively called a mail reflector, a mail exploder is a program, e-mail address, service, or group that requires only a single user, computer, or group for an address. When an e-mail is sent to that address, it is automatically forwarded or exploded into multiple e-mail addresses. For example, in a corporate environment, an e-mail group for the customer service department may be configured to allow anyone in the company to e-mail “Customer Service”. This e-mail would then be routed to the inbox of every customer service employee.
