A letter may refer to any of the following:
A letter is any character that is not considered a number or symbol. For example, a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l, m, n, o, p, q, r, s, t, u, v, w, x, y, and z are all lowercase letters in the English language and letter keys on the keyboard. The Letter size (spelled with a capital L) or paper size is a standard size for paper in the United States. Its dimensions are 8.5 x 11 inches, or 215.9 x 279.4 mm, as defined by ANSI. It is similar to, but should not be mistaken for, the A4 international standard paper size.
