Hybrid cloud is a term for two or more clouds (private, community, or public) that are bound together, offering the benefits of multiple deployment models. The individual clouds may be composed of separate service providers. The hybridization allows the user to extend the capability or capacity of the cloud service by integrating or aggregating it with another service.
Hybrid clouds can enable an IT organization to meet temporary capacity needs that cannot be met by a private cloud. This type of scaling is sometimes called “cloud bursting.”
