Sometimes abbreviated as fav, a favorite is a feature found in Microsoft Internet Explorer that allows a user to save the locations to their favorite Internet locations. Similar to Netscape’s and Firefox bookmarks. To view the favorites in Internet Explorer click the star icon in the top-right corner of the browser window, as shown in the picture.
