Fab may refer to any of the following:
- With integrated circuits and semiconductors, a fab or fabs describes a fabrication plant responsible for making semiconductor devices.
Because of the cost and complexity of building and running a fab, most semiconductor companies are fabless companies. A fabless company designs and tests a chip but has another company fab handle the manufacturing.
