Display settings is an area in Windows that enables users to adjust their display. Below is an example of how the Display settings window appears in Windows 11.
How to open Display settings
The Display settings window can be open through any of the following methods.
- Minimize all open windows (Windows key+D) to get to the desktop.
- Right-click anywhere on the desktop and in the right-click menu select Display settings.
or
- Open Settings.
- Under System, click Display, sound, notifications, power.
The Display settings window can also be open by running the associated .cpl file. To do this, follow the steps below.
- Click Start
- Type desk.cpl and press Enter.
