In Microsoft Word and other word processor programs, pressing Ctrl+M indents the paragraph. If you press this keyboard shortcut more than once, it continues to indent further. For example, you could hold down Ctrl and press M three times to indent the paragraph by three units.

Ctrl+M in Windows Media Player

In Windows Media Player, pressing Ctrl+M toggles the file menu shown at the top of the screen.

Pressing Ctrl+Shift+M decreases the indent by one unit instead of increasing it.

When used in the Microsoft Windows calculator, pressing Ctrl+M stores the current calculator value in memory. This keyboard shortcut is the same as pressing the MS button.
