Alt+M in Microsoft Excel
In Microsoft Excel, pressing Alt+M opens the Formulas tab in the Ribbon. After using this shortcut, you may press an additional key to select an option in the Formula tab. For example, after pressing Alt+M, you can press F to open the Insert Function window.

In Microsoft Word, pressing Alt+M opens the Mailings tab in the Ribbon. After using this shortcut, you may press an additional key to select an option in the Mailings tab. For example, after pressing Alt+M, you can press S to open the Start Mail Merge option.
