Alt+A in Microsoft Excel
In Microsoft Excel programs, pressing Alt+A opens the Data tab in the Ribbon. Once in the Data tab, after pressing the shortcut, you’ll also have the option to press an additional key to select a Data tab option. For example, after pressing Alt+A, you could press R to open the Refresh option.

Alt+A in Microsoft PowerPoint
In Microsoft PowerPoint, Alt+A keyboard shortcut opens the Animations tab in the Ribbon. After pressing the shortcut, you’ll also have the option to press an additional key to select an option in the Animations tab. For example, after pressing Alt+A, you could press P to open the preview section.
