Type of visitors

In tracking software such as Google Analytics, there may be three different types of visitors listed.

  • New Visitor - Someone who has never visited your site or any of your pages before.
  • Return Visitor - Someone who has visited a page in the past.
  • Visitor - As mentioned, a visitor is anyone or anything who has visited a page.
