Introduction

Note: There are several versions of this device, and each uses a different shock mount design that’s incompatible with the others. Contact Wacker Neuson with the device serial number, and they will confirm which mount you should order for the device.

What you need

Step 1

              Disconnect the spark plug wire               
  • Before you begin, make sure the device is switched off and the engine is cool to the touch.
  • Grab the plastic housing at the end of the spark plug wire.
  • Pull firmly to disconnect the wire from the spark plug.

Step 2

              Rotate the device               
  • If you are only replacing one or two shock mounts, you may not need to rotate the device.
  • Carefully rotate the device so that the pump sits on top of the engine.
  • Place a block of wood underneath the engine so that the engine weight rests on the wood and not the shock mounts.

Step 3

              Remove the mounting bolts               
  • Do not remove all four mount bolts at once, or the assembly will separate from the frame. Replace up to two shock mounts at a time.
  • Use a 13 mm socket and wrench to remove the nut(s) securing the shock mount(s) that you are replacing.

Step 4

              Remove the shock mount               
  • Use a 19 mm socket and wrench to remove the bolt securing the shock mount to the assembly.
  • Remove the shock mount.
  • Repeat to replace the remaining shock mounts.

Use a 19 mm socket and wrench to remove the bolt securing the shock mount to the assembly.

Remove the shock mount.

Repeat to replace the remaining shock mounts.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
