  • Lift the battery.
  • Unplug the two pin cable from the connector.

  • Unscrew the two 10mm screws in phone base.

  • Using the metal spudger gently, but firmly edge along the device .
  • When you feel a hook or latch use a firm but gentle lifting motion upward to unlatch the front and back case.

  • Unscrew a second set of 10mm screws to access to the other side.

  • The front case is now free and able to be manipulated.
  • Set aside the circuit board and back case as they will get in the way.

Step 7

  • Using a single finger apply a light force on the screen cover to release from the case.
  • Now the old screen can be replaced with a new desired one, simply properly align and it will clip into place.
