When I press the power button, the Jetpack MHS800L will not turn on.

Your battery may be dead, which means that it doesn’t have the power needed to light up the screen. Plug your charger into the wall and Jetpack to recharge the battery.

If your Jetpack isn’t charging when plugged into outlet go to another outlet in a different room to verify outlet. If it begins to charge then first outlet was faulty and breaker needs to be check.

While charging, the power button is green indicating that it is fully charged. Press the power button to turn on the Jetpack, screen remains black. Replace screen using the screen guide.

Your Jetpack MHS800L will not read the Sim Card.

SIM Card is not found in slot. If you have lost your SIM card you will need to replace it.

Even though SIM Card is in the slot it is easily installed upside down. On the device next to the SIM card slot is a picture that illustrates how to install SIM card into slot. Do so accordingly.

Your Jetpack MHS800L is turned on, but it will not connect to the internet.

There are areas in the United States that the Jetpack cannot connect to the Verizon network. You can be in one of these locations and will need to move in order to get service.

Even though the Jetpack is on and working correctly. The Version Network will not let you have Wi-Fi because you have used up all of the data your contract or prepaid limit allows. Make sure that your account balance is set appropriately.

Without the SIM card the Jetpack is unable to connect to the Verizon network, so make sure that the card is properly installed.

Your battery may be low. This means that it doesn’t have power needed to connect to network. When this occurs connect Jetpack to charger.

Jetpack MHS800L refuses to turn on when connected to charger and plugged into outlet.

The charger for the Jetpack could be damaged and will not allow for the device to charge. If this is the case you will need to get a new charger.

Cable maybe damaged not allowing the Jetpack to charge. Inspect the cable for any cuts, nicks, or brakes. If damaged is found replace the charger.

If your Jetpack isn’t charging when plugged into outlet go to another outlet in different room to verify. If it begins to charge then first outlet is faulty and breaker needs to be check.

If the battery is damaged or is no longer functional it won’t matter if the charger is good or bad. The internal battery will need to be replace with one that functions properly. Use the battery replacement guide.

This is only possible either by verizon pushing instructions or over USB with jiggery pokery.

dial *611 or 611

Verizon Tier2 support will not be able to assist you. In short, if you forget the admin password (and the security question’s answer) you have a slightly functional paperweight worth about nine dollars on the large popular interweb auction site with four letters starting with E ending in Y with a BA in the middle.
