Remove the Back
- Using one of the plastic opening tools, separate the plastic back from the tablet in one spot.
- Gently work the tool around the diameter of the tablet until the back pops completely off.

Remove All Screws
- Use the screwdrivers to remove all the screws.
- Ensure that all screws are removed before moving on to the next step.

Remove LCD Connector
- Remove the bottom LCD connector by gently pulling it away from the motherboard.

Separate the Frame from the Housing
- Identify the speaker wires.
- Use a plastic opening tool to gently pry underneath the frame of the grey plastic frame until it completely separates from the housing.

Step 5
Remove and Replace the Speaker
- Use the wire cutters to clip the speaker wires in the middle
- Use a plastic opening tool to remove the speaker.
- Insert the new speaker in its place and solder the old and new wires together.
