What you need

              Battery               
  • Insert a plastic opening device into the small crack separating the screen and the back of the device.
  • After the back of the device is separated, remove the back and you can now access the battery.
  • When prying the back of the device off, be careful as this could cause small damages or cracks to the screen.

  • The battery is connected to the motherboard where the picture indicates.
  • To remove the battery, you must first detach the battery wire connecting it from the motherboard. To do this, simply gently, but firmly, pull it out of the motherboard connector.

  • Simply pry the battery out of the device at this point. The battery may be held in place by adhesive glue and require a nylon spudger or plastic opening tool to help pry it out.
  • Place your new battery in place of the old one. Connect the new battery’s wire to the motherboard and you are finished.
