Examine existing gaiter
- Examine existing gaiter and take note of how its installed. A quick snap with your camera phone is helpful!

Remove existing gaiter
- Carefully cut through the existing cable tie or chord
- Pull the gaiter up over the gear knob

Fit New Gaiter
- Place the new gaiter over the gear knob upside down
- Ensure the cable tip is in the correct position (usually towards the rear)
- Locate the tie retaining groove
- Tighten the tie securely and trim excess
