Introduction
Before using this guide, check to see if the pin has fallen out and is damaged, or if the pin just needs to be put back into the tracking. We have provided links in Step 5 to where a new pin can be purchased, but in some cases the pin can be reused if it isn’t damaged or warped.

- Stand on a small ladder or step stool to get a better view of the top of the door.

- Locate the pin at the top of the door.

- Remove the current pin with pliers.

- Clean the top of the door using cleaning spray and a rag. This will help remove any dust or wood fragments left behind.
- I used Meyer’s spray, but any household cleaning spray will work just fine.

Step 5
- Replace old pin with new pin using the pliers to place into the hole at the top of the door.
- You can purchase a new pin at either Ace Hardware or Home Depot.

Step 6
- Push the pin all the way in by using a hammer.
- No excessive force is needed. Gently tap the pin with the hammer until it is secured.

- Line up the newly placed pin with the door’s tracking.
- Push the door down slightly and then lift it back up to align it with the track.

- Secure the pin within the tracking using the pliers.

- When completed, the bifold doors should close and be positioned within the tracking.
