Windows NT only
If only Windows NT is on the computer, we recommend you fdisk the hard drive; delete and recreate the partitions and then format and reinstall Windows NT.

Windows NT with dual boot computer
Boot the computer with a bootable Windows 98 bootable diskette.
At the prompt a:> type “sys c:” which should return system transferred. Once the system is transferred, reboot the computer back into Windows 98.
In Windows 98, locate and delete the files below, if present.
NTLDR NTDETECT.COM BOOT.INI NTBOOTDD.SYS
Once the above 4 files are located and deleted, or are no longer present on the hard drive, delete the Windows NT folder or partition.
Finally, locate the file PAGEFILE.SYS and delete it.
