What you need

              Air Filter               
  • Remove the air filter housing by turning the plastic screw counterclockwise with your hand.

              Remove the air filter that lays beneath the housing you removed in step 1               
  • Remove the air filter that lays beneath the housing you removed in step 1.
  • It is good practice to inspect your air filter for tears or other defects. If defects are found it is best to replace the air filter rather than to clean it.

Step 3

  • Clean the air filter thoroughly by spraying compressed air through the filter.
  • Be sure to spray the compressed air away from you in order to prevent injury.

  • Wipe all oil and water residue around the air filter casing with a paper towel or rag.

  • Place the air filter and air filter casing back in its original position.
  • Be sure the air filter and housing are lined up correctly.

  • Complete the maintenance by turning the screw clockwise with your hand until it is fully secured.
