Make sure that the battery is fully charged before attempting to power on the device. If that does not work, then consider replacing the battery.

If you are having this problem with one power source, try using a different one. For example, if you are using your laptop, try using a wall outlet. If that does not work, try using a backup battery charger.

If the issue cannot be resolved, contact Sony tech support.

Memory card cannot be read by the device.

Some users report a scratched image due to dirt or scratches on the lens.

The lens can be removed and a replacement part from Sony can be re-installed.

This issue cannot be fixed because the design of the camera itself is the source of the problem. If you take underwater video footage frequently, consider looking into a different camera or case.

While submerged, the case fills up with water.

The most likely cause of the case leaking is a faulty gasket. If there is any visible damage to the gasket, such as cracks, replace it. If there is not any apparent damage but the case is still leaking, it is possible that the gasket was not manufactured properly and needs to be replaced.

The case fogs up when shooting, leading to blurry images and video.

Before sealing the case, make sure all the moisture is removed. Try using a dry cloth to remove a majority of the water and let it air dry for a few minutes. If this fails to work, there is possibly a leak in the case as specified above.
