Download the Saleae Logic Analyzer
- Go to https://www.saleae.com/downloads/ and download the Saleae Logic Analyzer

Connect the Logic Analyzer
- Open Saleae Logic Analyzer. Then, connect the Logic Analyzer to the computer using USB
- To ensure that the Logic Analyzer is connected to the computer, you should see a message at the top of the Saleae Logic Analyzer that says [Connected]. There should also be a blinking light coming from the Logic Analyzer (the light pictured is green, though any light emitting from the Logic Analyzer means it is connected)

Connecting a Probe to a Header to Test a Wire
- Connect one of the probes (the colored wires attached to the Logic Analyzer) to the end of one of the headers (the piece of black plastic)
- Once the probe is connected to the header, pull down on the header. Two small wires will come out
- Keeping the header pulled down, attach the two wires at the end of the header to the desired wire to be tested
