- Work your way around all four corners of the tablet, unlocking all of the retaining tabs that hold the tablet together.
- Be sure not to over penetrate while separating the two halves as you may damage the tablet’s internal hardware.

- You should now be able to separate the two halves of the tablet. Also place the back cover aside since you will no longer be needing it until reassembly.

- With the motherboard facing upwards, locate the speakers and the Braided (Red and Black) wires connecting them. Once located remove the two pieces of black adhesive tape retaining the wires using a small pry tool or your hands.

- Once removed you will notice the solder locations that connect the Braided (Red and Black) wires to the motherboard.

- Follow the speaker wires down to the speakers at the bottom of the tablet.

- Use the pry tool to gently loosen the speakers out of place. Once loose separate the two sets of speakers so that you can identify which one must be replaced and which solder points you must desolder in the next steps.

Step 8
- Look closely at the soldering points. Take note of how the positive(Red) and negative(Black) connections are placed on the motherboard. With your soldering iron carefully heat the solder point until it begins to melt. Once molten, gently pull the wire off of the connection point. De-solder both positive and negative wires for each problem speaker.

Step 9
- Re-soldering is the same process as de-soldering, except you will also add solder. Be sure to be precise and clean when soldering. Look up soldering tutorials for help on youtube if you do not feel comfortable. Once all wires are re-soldered reassemble the tablet following the steps in reverse order.
