- Lifting straight up, remove the plastic body from the truck, exposing the inner components.

- Using a Phillips #1 screwdriver, on the rear right side, remove the center screw from the green wheelie bar.

- Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the center screw on the left side of the green wheelie bar.

- Pull the black power wire in an outward motion on both sides of the clear plastic sleeve to disconnect the motor from the battery. Repeat this with the red power wire to disconnect it from the battery.

Step 6
- Remove the right rear wheel, using a 7.0 mm socket-or R.C. wheel wrench to loosen the Nyloc nut.
- Pull the wheel straight out removing it from the truck.

- Using a number Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the two screws that hold the plastic motor housing together.
- Pull the motor housing straight out and remove.

- Using a 1/16 Allen wrench, loosen the set screw inside the small gear that holds the motor in place.
- Pull straight out to remove the gear from the motor shaft.

- Remove two Phillips #1 head screws holding the motor in place.

- Grasping the motor, slide it out towards the left tire, removing it entirely.
- Now you have removed the old motor and can replace it with a new one.
