- Remove the battery by sliding the tabs to the left.

- Use the Phillips head screw driver to remove the screw holding the back plate on.
- Use the spudger to remove the back plate.

- Unlock the RAM by lightly pushing the two metallic holding arms away from the RAM stick.
- The holding arms can be pressed together or one at a time.
- The RAM sticks one of its edges slightly away away from the computer when unlocked.

- Grab the RAM stick by the protruding edge.
- Pull the RAM stick towards the right to remove.
