Step 1

              Battery               
  • Power off your laptop before beginning dissassembly.
  • The left-hand switch and right-hand switch boxed in red located at the bottom on the underside of the computer.

Step 2

  • Set the right-hand switch near the battery into the unlock position (move switch from left to right).

  • Set and hold the left hand switch near the battery into its unlock position (move switch from right to left).

Set and hold the left hand switch near the battery into its unlock position (move switch from right to left).

Step 4

  • While both switches are in their unlocked positions, use a plastic opening tool or your fingers to lift out the battery at the indent between the switches.
  • The right hand switch regardless of initial position will stay or return to the unlock position when a battery is placed back in the slot. To avoid any mishaps, be sure to set the switch back into the lock position while any battery is plugged in.
