Laptop does not respond and shows no sign of turning on. It will either not boot, says that there is no drive to boot from, or you are unable to access BIOS
Make sure the charger is plugged in all the way. Make sure the light indicating the adapter is attached is lit. If the adapter is plugged in and the light is off, the charger is most likely faulty.
If the charger is plugged in and the light is on, assure that the charger is plugged in. If the only time the computer turns on is when the charger is connected then the battery is most likely no longer holding a charge.
If the device cannot access the boot drive, then there may be a problem with the hard drive.
If the computer starts up and only stays on the splash screen, then the motherboard is most likely faulty.
The keys on your keyboard are not responding or appear to be broken or missing
If the entire keyboard is not taking input, then the keyboard is most likely either faulty or has a bad connection.
If you turn the laptop on and the screen is blank but all other components work, then the screen may have a faulty connection or there could be a problem with the video drivers.
The laptop is making a loud noise from the fan, or the laptop is making a grinding noise from the hard drive.
There may be dust, hair, or something obstructing the fan from spinning properly, which may cause the computer to overheat.
The hard drive may be scratched on the inside. This will cause the computer to fail to boot up or some files to be lost.
While using your laptop it turns off with no notice, and no instruction
If the computer continuously turns on and off with no notice, then the memory(RAM) may be loose and losing connection to the motherboard.
If the computer is constantly having problems starting up, and it is not a loose memory connection, then the motherboard may be faulty and/or have a short circuit somewhere on the board.
The laptop runs properly but without notice shuts down. When it happens the bottom feels hot and the fan runs louder than usual.
If the fan is blocked and making loud noises, then the fan may have dust or other foreign objects stuck in it.
