The bottom of the laptop gets overly hot and fan is running at maximum speed.
If the laptop is overheating, the air flow may be obstructed by dust that collects in the fan. To clean the fan, shut down the laptop, remove the battery, and unplug the power strip. Clean the fan using a cotton swab coated in alcohol. Do not run the laptop until the alcohol is dried. Use [fan repair] to reach the fan.
The exhaust port is where the fan blows hot air out to cool the laptop. If this is clogged, hot air cannot be removed and the computer will overheat. Locate the exhaust port on the side of the laptop and use a vacuum cleaner to suck the blockage out.
The fan takes in cool air through the intake grills. IF these grills are blocked, no cool air can enter the laptop to cool it. To clear the grills, locate the intake grills on the bottom of the laptop. Spray them with canned air to remove the blockage.
If the laptop is on an uneven surface, the air flow may be obstructed. Therefore, make sure the laptop is being run on a hard, flat surface such as a table or book.
Sounds are hard to listen to; the sounds are not clear or are fuzzy.
Attempt to listen to the audio through the speakers and through headphones. If the audio is working properly through the speakers but not through the headphones ensure that the audio jack is plugged in properly and not loose. If the audio through the headphones is not working properly, the audio jack or the headphones being used may not be working properly.
If the audio is distorted through the laptop speakers, the audio driver may be faulty. Ensure that the driver is updated to the latest software . To do this,
Search Device Manger by swiping in from right edge of screen to access search bar.
Double click Sounds and Video to locate the audio output.
Right click on the output device and click Update Driver.
Search automatically for an update to download and install.
If the Driver is up to date, you may need uninstall the driver. Follow the same steps as above, but click Uninstall device instead of Update Driver. Then, once it’s uninstalled, restart your laptop. The laptop will automatically reinstall the device.
If the audio is fuzzy but is not cutting in and out, the speakers themselves could be dirty. To ensure that the speakers are not dirty and there is no dust or dirt on the speakers, use air duster and spray it on the speakers to blow out any dirt and dust on the speakers.
Laptop fails to connect to wireless networks and internet services.
In order to have access to the internet, the laptop must be connected to a source of network. Check the WiFi status indicator to determine if you have a solid connection to the internet. This is located in the settings and control panel tab, under the heading, Network/Internet services. In some instances, your laptop may not be able to recognize and connect to a desired network due to complications such as the computer not effectively establishing a solid connection to the network. A possible solution would be to conduct a diagnostic check on the PC.
Determine if your laptop is able to recognize the desired WiFi domain network. If it fails to do so, It may be a problem with the network itself and not the laptop.
If you are unsure or having trouble understanding the direct issue for network errors, Begin by running a troubleshooting diagnostic for your network settings. This program will examine the error and relay the information in a detailed message report. You can access this troubleshooting program by searching the control panel or settings location, and finding the network services or internet connections tab.
If the above solutions fail to work, the WiFi card may be damaged or defective. The WiFi card must be taken out and replaced in order to properly establish a stable network connection. Replacement of the laptop’s WiFi card is a fairly simple procedure, made possible by A step by step tutorial as shown by following the [Toshiba Satellite Click 2 WiFi Card Replacement Guide].
