- Flip the laptop over so the bottom is facing up.

- Slide the two lock tabs on the battery to the open position.

- While still holding the lock tabs outward, use your hand to grab the top of battery and pull up.
- Remove the battery.

RAM
- Flip the laptop around so that the bottom is facing you.

- Unscrew the Phillips #00 screw, and remove the back cover.

- Spread the metal clamps on either side of the RAM card outward so the RAM pops up.

- Pull the RAM out of the slot in a horizontal direction.
- Be sure to only handle the edges of the RAM card, as the oils on your fingers can cause damage if they make contact with the face of the card.
