Random Access Memory (RAM)
- Turn the laptop over and place upside down on a flat surface.
- Remove the 5.5 mm “F5” screw with the Phillips #1 screwdriver and lift off plastic cover.

Step 2
- Take two fingers and gently pull the two metal tabs away from the RAM module as shown.
- There are two tabs for each of the two RAM modules.
- The RAM module should be slightly dislodged from the base after the two tabs are pulled.

Step 3
- Grip the edge of the card and slide the RAM module out by pulling horizontally.
- Once the first RAM module has been removed, repeat steps 2 and 3 to remove the second RAM module.
