- Ensure that your laptop is turned off and the battery has been removed

- Unscrew the singlular screw in plate with a Phillips #1 screwdriver.
- The screw does not come all the way out of the plastic plating, instead there is a protector that keeps it in place for you even when fully unscrewed.

- To remove the RAM sticks, put your thumbs on the metal pins and push outwards.
- Once pushed outwards, the first RAM stick will pop up at an angle
- After the RAM is at an angle, you can now remove that stick of RAM and repeat the process to the second stick of RAM.
