              Battery               
  • Press down with your fingers while also applying a sliding motion on the latch buttons near the battery on the underside of your laptop.

  • Lift the battery upward with your fingers out of the battery compartment.

              Keyboard               
  • On the back of the laptop, remove the 6mm Phillips #1 screw. This screw is attached to the keyboard.

  • Looking at the keyboard, locate the eight clips that hold it in place.

  • Use the plastic opening tool to slide the clips back, releasing the keyboard.
  • As you release the clips, use the plastic opening tool to lift keyboard above the clips.

Step 6

  • Once the keyboard is released from the clips you should be able to lift it up, exposing the wire connecting it to the laptop.
  • The keyboard will slide out of the clips on the top.

Step 7

  • Using your fingers, slowly pull the wire out of its connection.
  • The keyboard is now disconnected.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
