- Lift the battery upward with your fingers out of the battery compartment.

Keyboard
- On the back of the laptop, remove the 6mm Phillips #1 screw. This screw is attached to the keyboard.

- Looking at the keyboard, locate the eight clips that hold it in place.

- Use the plastic opening tool to slide the clips back, releasing the keyboard.
- As you release the clips, use the plastic opening tool to lift keyboard above the clips.

- Once the keyboard is released from the clips you should be able to lift it up, exposing the wire connecting it to the laptop.
- The keyboard will slide out of the clips on the top.

- Using your fingers, slowly pull the wire out of its connection.
- The keyboard is now disconnected.
