Clean battery with compressed air

Clean contacts with rubbing alcohol

If it does not work replace battery module

Place in a clear air-tight bag/ container and place in refrigerator

If it continues to overheat replace battery module or replace fan

Check to see if charger is seated properly in the port

             Check the charger and port for dust, dirt, or debris

             Clean with compressed air (if still clogged try to use a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip)

             Check clips to make sure they are properly set before attempting to place the battery module

            Check to see if there is an adhesive or other method of blocking the access and remove

             Clean with compressed air on both holder and reader

             Clean disk with a microfiber cloth or compressed air

              Open back cover by removing screw and lifting off

              Check all 4 connections for memory

              Try removing all connections and clean with compressed air

   Let computer cool or cool battery as suggested in (Battery Overheat)

              Clean with compressed air to remove all debris

              Plug in the laptop if the charging light does not turn on replace the charger

              If the light turns on, replace the battery

              Are there USB devices attached, such as USB driven devices or thumb drives?                                              Try turning off USB Selective Suspend

                                                Go into Power Options settings.

                                                Right click on the battery icon and select Power Options

                                                Click on “Change advanced power settings”

                                                Select maximize the option USB settings

                                                Then USB selective suspend and disable

              Make sure RAM is correctly installed. If it does not work when installed correctly, then remove the RAM and replace it.

              Let computer cool or cool battery as suggested in (Battery Overheat)

              Use a can of compressed air to clear the dust off the GPU fans and vents

              Think about upgrading the driver to the current version

              New drivers can be found on the manufacturer’s website

              New drivers can also be found online by searching based off the model number

There may be dust or debris in the fans or vents on the machine. Spray the area of the vent with a can of compressed air to clean the area.
