Tablet is plugged in and still doesn’t turn on
Unplug the power cable from the outlet and the tablet and reattach. Confirm that you attached the USB/AC connector cord properly.
Test the wall outlet with a lamp or different device to make sure it works properly.
If possible, attempt to plug your device into a different charger. If it charges with a different charger or your charger won’t charge a different device then you need to replace your charger.
If charger and outlet work and your tablet still won’t charge or turn on, you could have a dead battery. Replace your battery.
Your display is not functioning like it supposed to.
Navigate to the display settings by clicking on the settings button on the home screen. Display settings can be adjusted here.
Navigate to display settings and verify that brightness option is all the way up.
If display seems dark, navigate to brightness settings. If brightness is all the way up but display is still dark your LCD or back-light might need to be replaced.
Your Toshiba Excite 7 is not playing any sound.
If you cannot hear any sound from your headphones, unplug your headphones. If you hear sound coming from the tablet than your headphones are faulty and need to be replaced.
Navigate to sound in settings and verify that the volume on the tablet is not off.
Restart the device
Plug in headphones to the audio jack and test for sound. If headphones produce sound, then the speaker is likely defective and should be replaced
You will have to perform a factory reset by pressing down the volume + and home buttons are the same time.
If the screen becomes non-responsive during web browsing, it may be temporary due to poor reception. A reset would not be necessary.
The battery included in the factory model has a single use. A new battery is the only solution when the current battery does not hold charge.
The audio may not seem to be working properly because the other person can not hear you. the only way to fix this is to replace the microphone.
Clean the lens with micro fiber cloths.
Restart the tablet.
