- Gently pry the broken space bar up with from the back with your finger.

- You should now see the key retainer.
- Do not remove anything else because this is crucial for replacing the key.

- Gently lift up the bottom metal prongs.
- Insert the two ends of the prong into the small metal loops located at the top of the key pad.
- Gently press the key down until you hear a click.
