- Use the iFixit opening tool to pry open the TomTom Go 60 S. Start from a corner and drag the tool around the device.

- Disconnect the screen from the motherboard by removing the yellow ribbon connector from the socket.

- Remove all six screws from the motherboard with a Philips #000 screwdriver.

- Disconnect the two battery ribbon cables from the motherboard.

- Remove the button cell battery from outer casing to remove battery.
