How to fix common issues with the Thrustmaster T Flight Hotas 4 joystick controller.

Pulling the trigger does nothing.
Your controller may not be calibrated correctly. If calibration is set up incorrectly then various buttons and trigger may not function correctly. To fix this, first make sure your controller is recognized by the console. Then proceed to the controller settings in your game. Lastly, select return to default settings.
The Thrustmaster T Flight Hotas 4 requires installation to work correctly. To install your controller plug in the USB cable to the USB port on your PlayStation 4. Once your controller is recognized, there will be a light on your controller that turns red. Then you must sign into your Sony Entertainment Network account. Lastly, start your game.
Your controller needs to be plugged in to work. Plug in the USB cable into the USB port on your PlayStation 4.

The Thrustmaster T Flight Hotas 4 is only compatible with certain games. If the game is not compatible, the controller will not work.

The USB cable is not charging.
USB cable may be damaged beyond repair, warranting the replacement of the USB cable.
Be aware of where and how the cable has been plugged in. Double check to make sure it is plugged in the correct spot and that it is inserted all the way. If it is in the correct spot, but does not insert all the way, there may be something blocking the process or it may not be the correct USB Cable for the device.
Inspect the USB Cable for any kind of debris or dirt that may be present on either the inside or outside of the cable as well as in the jack of the Thrustmaster T Flight Hotas 4. If there is any present, it may be affecting the connection and can simply be cleaned out.
The throttle doesn’t move properly and/or doesn’t match on screen movements.
The throttle stick may be dirty which will reduce the movement of stick. The throttle may also stick due to old lubricant that requires replacing. Please refer to our Throttle Repair Guide to see how to properly clean the throttle stick and/or replace the lubricant.
The joystick does not return to an upright position and/or moves on it’s own.
