- Check the belt to see if it is off the motor or turntable. If the belt is damaged (tearing or lack of smoothness) replace the belt with a new one. If it is off track, realign accordingly.
- Do not stretch the belt too far as it may break.

- Once the belt is ready to go, re-wrap the belt around the turntable wheel and, keeping it around the wheel, wrap it around the motor (indicated by the red circle).
- It may be helpful to lay the record player on its side to keep the belt wrapped around both the motor and the turntable wheel.

- Once the belt has been re-applied and the turntable re-attached, stand the record player back up.
