No matter how much you push the power button, the device remains inactive.
Hold down the power button for several seconds, if done correctly the screen should power down. Wait for 30 seconds before turning the device back on. Try this several times. The power button may be slightly off or “sticky”. While this is probably not the problem, it’s always worth a try before moving on.
Attempt to charge the device using the adapter for a wall outlet. Charging the device using a usb cord plugged into a computer will not provide the necessary power to charge the device.
If the device still does not respond, the battery will need to be replaced. Please refer to our Battery Replacement Guide to replace the battery with a new one.
If the tablet seems to be charging but the screen is not on or is too dark, the device may need a replacement screen.
Please refer to our Screen Replacement Guide to replace the the screen.
If the display and the battery are not causing the problem, the motherboard may need to be replaced.
Please refer to our Motherboard Replacement Guide to replace the motherboard with a new one.
After charging your device, it dies in a very short amount of time.
Check if you have any apps opened. Having too many apps can cause the battery to drain faster.
Close out the apps>Connect the device to a charger>Try using the device after it’s fully charged.
If the device dies too quickly, you may want to replace the battery with a newer one. Please refer to our Battery Replacement Guide for the necessary steps
The battery has become less effective as it has aged and needs to be replaced.
Please refer to our Battery Replacement Guide in order to replace the battery.
The screen is not responsive to taps and gestures.
If your device’s screen is dirty take a clean cloth and gently wipe the screen off. Once it is cleaned your device should respond to taps and gestures.
If applications that you’ve installed on your device are causing a delay in your device, go to >Settings> Apps. Here you can select which application you wish to uninstall or deactivate in order to fix any delays your device is experiencing.
Press and hold the power button along with the volume down until the screen shuts off >Wait at least 10 seconds before turning your device back on >Afterwards, turn the device back on, holding the volume up button >Navigate to Wipe Data/Factory > Click “Yes” (Keep in mind this will delete all data on the tablet)
*Be sure to back up your data before wiping the device.
Wait for tablet to reboot and turn on.
There may be some dust buildup inside the device.
Please refer to the Screen Replacement Guide in order to safely remove that screen for cleaning or to replace the screen.
You turn the volume up on a new YouTube video, but no sound comes from the device.
Try using different applications to check if only specific platforms output audio.
If nothing works, please refer to our Speaker Replacement Guide to replace the speaker with a new one.
You go to take a picture and the camera immediately crashes or there is a giant crack right in the middle of the lens.
Try opening the camera app.
If you can see an image from the camera, the tablet may just need to be restarted.
If no image is shown in the camera app or there is a crack in the image, the camera will need to be replaced.
Please refer to our Camera Replacement Guide to replace your old camera with a new one.
The tablet freezes or directs you to the home screen once you open the app.
Some apps cannot operate without internet connection.
Go to Settings > Wi-Fi, to check if you’re connected.
If you are not go to Settings >Wi-fi> Select the Wi-Fi network you wish to connect to (Keep in mind some may need passwords to connect to).
The app may not work if it was not installed correctly from the Googleplay.
This can be solved by deleting the app and reinstalling it.
Go to Setting > Apps > Locate the app > Press uninstall, then the app can be reinstalled from Googleplay.
Some apps can only be used when it is updated.
Go to Googleplay > Search the app > Check to see if application needs an update > Click “Update”
Proceed to restarting your tablet to ensure everything is updated.
Press and hold the power button along with the volume down until the screen goes off.
Afterwards, turn the device back on, holding the volume up button.
Navigate to Wipe Data/Factory > Click “Yes” (Keep in mind this will delete all data on the tablet)
Be sure to back up your data before wiping the device.
