Persistent trouble hearing the visitor through the Intercom.

When there is minimal sound or no sound at all, the volume may be set too low. Ensure the volume is loud enough by adjusting the volume on the side of the monitor. If this is not sufficient, ask the visitor to speak closer to the microphone.

If there is no sound after pressing the Talk button, the monitor may be dirty. Clean the monitor using a cleaning wipe or microfiber cloth to remove debris.

If there is no sound, the audio wire may be disconnected. Check to see that the audio wire is attached correctly. The audio wire is blue and should be attached to the same terminal in the Doorphone as the outside camera. Refer to the wiring diagram in the manual to check for proper installation. To make sure that the audio wiring is set up correctly use this guide.

The image on the monitor is hard to see.

If the screen is blank but audio can still be heard, there may be something in the way of the camera. Make sure there is nothing covering the lens or obstructing the view of the outdoor camera.

If the image is unclear, the brightness may be too low. Go to the right side of the monitor and adjust the brightness slider. If the image is still unclear install additional lighting in the area the camera is facing.

If there is static on the display or it flickers in and out, the wiring to the monitor could be attached incorrectly. To resolve this issue, make sure that the wiring to the monitor is attached correctly and that the wires are properly attached using this guide.

The door remains locked even when the unlock button is pushed to unlock the door.

If the door does not unlock after pressing the Unlock button, the monitor may be dirty. Clean the monitor using a cleaning wipe or microfiber cloth to remove debris.

If the door is not unlocked when the door Unlock button is pressed, the wiring to the door latch could be attached incorrectly. To resolve this issue, make sure that the wiring to the door latch mechanism is wired correctly and that the wires are properly attached using this guide .

Persistent trouble seeing the video feed on the screen of the intercom.

If the image appears to be dark, there could be an object blocking the lens. Make sure there is nothing obstructing the view of the lens on the outdoor camera.

If there is no power, the AC Adapter may not be plugged into the monitor. Test to make sure the AC Adaptor is plugged into the back of the monitor.

If no video appears on the monitor, the wiring to the monitor could be attached incorrectly. To resolve this issue, make sure that the wiring to the monitor is wired correctly and that the wires are properly attached using this guide .

The doorbell button will not depress when pushed.

If the doorbell button is stuck, there could be debris underneath the button preventing the button from depressing. unplug all wires and take off the back plate. If there is any debris visibly blocking the path of the button, carefully clear it out. For instructions on unplugging the wires and removing the back panel, follow this guide.
