- With a screwdriver, unscrew the back panel screws.
- Remove back panel.

- Unwind and remove the guitar strings.

- With a screwdriver, remove the front body perimeter screws.

Step 4
- Carefully lift the panel of the guitar and turn it upside down to reveal the electronic components.

- Using the the soldering iron and the solder sucker (or the soldering wick), take away any soldering connections of the potentiometers and the five-way switch.

- Carefully flip the back panel to the original position.
- With a screwdriver, unscrew the pickups.

- Remove the old pickups.
