Step 1
Open the Device
- Remove the six silver 11.4 mm Phillips #0 screws that hold the device shell in place.
- Pry open the shell using the plastic opening tools if necessary. To do this, locate the groves running along the side of the entire device and wedge it open.

Remove the Infrared Lights
- Find the infrared light assemblies, which are located at the front end of the device on either side of the lens.
- The process is the same regardless of which light you are replacing.
- Lift the light assembly away from the rest of the device.

Open the Light Assembly
- Use the plastic opening tools to pry open the light assembly.

Disconnect the Lights
- Use the soldering iron and desoldering braid to de-solder the wires from the lights.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
