  • Remove the back cover to gain access to the mother board.
  • Unscrew, with a 000 Philip’s screwdriver, the 3.547 mm long screw located at the bottom of your tablet.

Step 2

  • Firmly slide the cover in the direction indicated by the arrow, away from the ports, with your hand to remove the back cover.

  • Find the wires that connect the speakers to the mother board. (Follow the marker on the image)
  • You will need a soldering iron to remove these. Start heating that up and proceed to step 4.

Step 4

  • Take the soldering iron and desolder the left-most (with the representation of the speakers being at the top of your device) four leads from the logic board to the speakers.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
